What is an ITIN?
An Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) is a tax processing number issued by the IRS to individuals who are not eligible for a Social Security Number. It is used for federal tax filing and reporting purposes.
Do I need to send my passport to the IRS?
No! As an IRS Certified Acceptance Agent, we can certify your identity documents in our office. You never need to mail your original passport to the IRS.
How long does ITIN processing take?
Processing typically takes 7-11 weeks when submitted directly. We ensure your application is complete and accurate to avoid delays.
Can I get an ITIN for my spouse and dependents?

Which state should I form my LLC in?
For non-resident founders we recommend Wyoming, Colorado and Montana: all three offer low fees and a simple setup. However, your home state may be best if you operate locally. We advise based on your situation.
What is a Registered Agent?
A Registered Agent is a person or company designated to receive legal documents on behalf of your business. It is required in every state. Our Premium plan includes Registered Agent service.

No hidden fees. Our prices are transparent. State filing fees are additional and vary by state — we disclose these upfront before you pay.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. If your application is rejected due to an error on our part, we will refund our service fee or refile at no charge. Government filing fees are non-refundable.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Absolutely. Most businesses start with the Basic package and upgrade as they generate revenue and need compliance support. You can upgrade anytime through your client portal.
Are there any hidden renewal fees?
U.S. LLCs owned by non-residents typically need an annual state report and fee, plus IRS filings such as Form 5472. Incorpfy handles your registered agent service and filings (included in some plans, optional in others) so you stay in good standing year-round. Our Tax and Compliance plan covers all required state and federal filings.
